I'm just thinking out loud at this point! someone else might find this stuff interesting. (i'll chalk that up to rounding errors.) but 7h instead of 2h?
That's interesting the minutes are so close together. With industry-leading service and equipment, CED Greentech helps solar contractors install top quality solar PV systems, gain competitive advantage and grow. Or, in other words, it should be showing 7h28m to 100%. we *should* be short the 7% (or 5.376kWh).
it wouldn't be taking into account the bulk/absorb stage BEFORE lowering to the float voltage.Īnd i'll say the 93% given is accurate! that's roughly the amount of power we used since the sun went down and need to put back. *MAYBE* the time it's giving is until the float voltage is reached? but that doesn't really make sense. Enphase Energy: Envoy Communications Gateway,C250, ENV-C250. Outback OBCT-200 200A Current Transformer. The only other thing i can think of is there is a setting in the monitor that asks what the float voltage is. Schneider Electric: Schneider Electric, CONEXT BATTERY MONITOR 24/48V, 865-1080-01. When the math DOESN'T check out - it bothers me!! LOL
So, the battery monitor *should* be showing us at 97.7% if it thinks we'll be full in 2h27m, but it's saying 93%. just charging instead of discharging, right?ħ25w x 2.45h (that's 2h27m.) = 1.776kWh new (cloudy) day, but that shouldn't matter really. This explains why you do, what you do, from the perspective of what lead you up to this point. If anyone can shed some light on this, i'd be MOST appreciative! Battery bank monitoring with battery string health detection Conext Battery Monitor indicates hours of battery based runtime and determines battery bank state of charge. and i'm NOT contacting customer service - they've NEVER been any help. but that was a stretch of a guess!Ĭouldn't find anything in the manual(s), or from searching online. or "2 hour, 45 minutes".ĭoes anyone know if it displays how much LONGER it will take to charge to 100%SOC while charging, then when discharging it shows how much longer to 0%SOC? it just seems random and i can't figure it out! i even thought at one point the lower time was 'how long it's been since it "synced" itself to 100%". HOWEVER, sometimes it says something WAY lower like "15 minutes".
most of the time it says XXdays-XXhours-XXminutes. the time is what has me confused!! i assumed it was 'time left till 0% SOC'.
What *exactly* is the info that is given through the online portal next to the battery? specifically the "time info"? i understand the voltage, SOC and temp data of course. i've been watching the progress of the charging through Schneider's Insight Cloud and i'm a lil confused as to what i'm seeing. (yea, 6x 280aH batteries) and i just finally got a full charge. Ok, i installed my Schneider Conext Battery Monitor about 2 weeks ago on my new DIY 1680aH LifePO4 battery bank.
